Bona Craft Oil 2K
A high performance, 2-component oil stain for wood floors. Can be used on its own or overcoated with Bona Traffic HD.
Overview
Bona Craft Oil 2K is a high performance, two-component base oil for wooden floors. Uniquely long open time and pot life, fast drying and fast curing. Can be used on its own or overcoated with a lacquer for different gloss levels and increased durability, leaving a practically maintenance free surface. Highly compatible with most wood species, even tricky ones such as cherry, walnut, smoked oak and steamed beech.

Please note: Bona Craft Oil 2K should ideally be applied by an experienced floor finisher for the best results.

Preparation
Ensure floor is acclimatised to its end-use environment, well sanded, dry and free from any sanding dust, wax and other surface contaminants.

For filling gaps between floor boards and skirting boards, use Bona Gap Master
For filing holes, splits, dents and other surface imperfections, use Bona Mix and Fill or Bona Mix and Fill Plus
For a more intense and uniform colouration, the wood can be "water popped" prior to applying the craft oil.

Sand and clean the floor
Apply water thinly over the surface with a sponge or microfibre roller
Allow the floor surface to dry overnight before applying the oil.
